Dr Weida Lau is Divisional Chair of Surgery and Head of Department of Urology at KTPH, NHG Health Singapore. He is UK-Fellowship trained in Andrology and Reconstructive Urology. He holds a MHPE from Maastricht University, an MBA (with distinction) from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK, and an MPH from Warwick University. He holds the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

He is recognized within his professional community as the Vice President of the Singapore Urological Association (SUA). He is a key opinion leader in penile oncology, genitourethral reconstruction, male sexual dysfunction, and Minimally invasive surgical therapy (MIST) for prostate enlargement. He has written several publications and produced surgical video presentations on these subjects.
