I am Dr. Sang Hoon Song, an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology at Asan Medical Center, University of Ulsan College of Medicine. My expertise spans Pediatric and Adult Urology, with a special focus on diagnosing and treating pediatric urological diseases, including hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, cryptorchidism, hypospadias, and voiding dysfunctions. I also have a significant interest in congenital urology and lower urinary tract dysfunction in adults.

A cornerstone of my clinical practice is high-tech robotic surgery in pediatric patients, where I have recorded a high success rate. This proficiency extends to adult urology, particularly in urinary tract reconstruction surgeries for upper and lower tract disorders.

My educational background includes a Medical Doctor degree, a Master of Science, and a Ph.D. from Seoul National University College of Medicine. My postgraduate training includes a residency and fellowships at Seoul National University Hospital and Asan Medical Center, as well as a Visiting Research Scholar/Postdoctoral Fellow at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, USA.

I actively participate in several prestigious medical societies, holding committee positions in the Korean Urological Association, the Korean Society of Pediatric Urology, the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics, the Korean Children’s Continence and Enuresis Society, the Korean Prostate Society, and the Korean Society for Urological Ultrasonography.

My research spans clinical studies in pediatric and adult urology, and basic research in andrology and regenerative medicine. My numerous publications have contributed significantly to advancing urological medical care and research.
