Olga Osores

RNFA

Olga Osores is a compassionate and dedicated operating room nurse with over nine years of experience in healthcare. Her journey began in a brain injury and rehabilitation unit at a small community hospital, driven by a desire to follow in her grandmother”s footsteps. In 2016, Olga joined Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, where she found her passion in the Urology Robotic Service line after completing an orientation in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery.

As the Primary Service Nurse for the Robotic Program at Strong Memorial Hospital since 2019, Olga has developed a robotic-specific orientation process for both current and new staff. She values integrity, respect, and responsibility, ensuring patient safety and prioritizing patient care in all her actions.

Olga’s commitment to improving healthcare extends beyond her clinical duties. She led a Quality Improvement initiative to optimize the return of broken robotic instruments, resulting in significant cost savings and enhanced workflow efficiency. Her efforts have recovered substantial manufacturer credits, demonstrating her dedication to both patient care and operational excellence.

Olga holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the State University of New York at Brockport and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing Education at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has been recognized for her academic achievements.

Outside of work, Olga enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
