Olga Osores

RN

I am Olga Osores, BSN, RN, RNFA, CNOR. My career in healthcare began 9 years ago as an RN on brain injury and rehabilitation unit as a small community hospital. I always wanted to follow my grandmother’s footsteps and become an operating room nurse. In 2016, I became a nurse in the operating room at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, New York. After completing an orientation in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery I fell in love with and found my home in the Urology Robotic Service line. In 2019 I became the Primary Service Nurse for the Robotic Program at Strong Memorial Hospital. I have developed a Robotic specific orientation process for current staff that do not work in the service and for new staff coming into the service. I value INTEGRITY, by always doing what is right to maintain patient safety; RESPECT, in treating others the way I would like to be treated; and RESPONSINILITY, by holding myself accountable for ensuring the patient is always our first priority. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, reading books, spending time with the family.
