I’m Kenji Zennami who is a urologist and associate professor of the department of urology in Fujita Health University school of medicine, Japan. I obtained M.D. from Aichi Medical University, Japan in 2004, Ph.D. from Aichi Medical University, Japan in 2009. I used to be in Johns Hopkins University, USA as a postdoctoral fellow to work for basic research on prostate cancer from 2015 to 2017. After coming back to Japan, I have been focusing on robotic surgeries including radical prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, and cystectomy. My current subspecialty is intracorporeal urinary diversion (ICUD) including orthotopic ileal neobladder (modified Studer). My goal is to establish a standardized, simplified ICUD technique to reduce operative time, complication, and to widely spread it. In addition, identification of the mechanism of cancer biology including chemo-sensitivity, and response to ICI. I hope to build a relationship and friendship with all the people involved in NARUS!
