Jessica Hannick

MD, Msc

Dr. Jessica Hannick is Staff in the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Pediatric Urology. She is part of the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital and holds the title of Assistant Professor of Urology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Dr. Hannick completed her undergraduate degree in Architectural studies at Tufts University and earned her medical degree from Rush University’s Medical College in Chicago, IL. She completed her urology residency at Loyola University Medical Center and went on to The Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto for fellowship training in pediatric urology. Dr. Hannick is board certified in urology and pediatric urology and holds memberships in the American Board of Urology, the Societies for Pediatric Urology, the Society for Fetal Urology. Dr. Hannick has been consistently named in the list of Best Doctors by Cleveland Magazine since 2017. Since 2019, she has traveled to Azua, Dominican Republic to provide basic pediatric urological care to the underserved communities of the South Dominican Republic and Haitian refugees. In 2023, Dr. Hannick was awarded the Amerson Family/Urology Care Foundation Humanitarian Endowment Fund Grant to support this global health work. Dr. Hannick also serves as a Senior Editor on the American Urological Association’s Core Curriculum Committee focused on enhancing the educational resources available to urology trainees and practitioners worldwide. Her specialty interests include hypospadias, prenatally diagnosed hydronephrosis, and congenital anomalies of the kidney and ureters such as ureteropelvic junction obstruction, ectopic ureters, and duplicated collecting systems. With deference to her Master of Science in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety attained through the University of Toronto, she is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to all her patients from birth through adulthood with particular attention paid to optimizing quality, safety, and the patient and parent experience. When not clinically active, you may find Dr. Hannick gardening at her community garden plot, running or biking through one of Cleveland’s many Metroparks, or sampling from the diverse food scene that Cleveland has to offer.
