Dr. Berrondo is a pediatric urologist at Children’s Nebraska. She is also Assistant Professor of Surgery (Urologic Surgery) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She assumed pivotal roles at Children’s Nebraska as Director of Robotic Surgery and Residency Site Director for the University of Nebraska Medical Center Urology Residency Program.

Dr. Berrondo graduated from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed her General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at the University of Rochester. She then completed her Pediatric Urology Fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery with an emphasis on robotic surgery.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Berrondo has actively contributed to research in urology, with a notable bibliography of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Her research spans diverse areas, including antibiotic prophylaxis, healthcare disparities and robotic surgery.

Her efforts in patient care, education, and research underscore her commitment to advancing the field of pediatric urology.
