Andrés Hernández-Porras

Urologist graduated from the Specialty at La Raza Medical Center in Mexico City since 1993. Main practice in oncologic urology and minimally invasive surgery, primarily robotic. I have a master”s degree in Health Sciences and I am currently in the 3rd year of a PhD in Interdisciplinary Research at the Autonomous University of Baja California campus Tijuana. I have had robotic training mainly in 3 centers, UCI Irvine in a miniresidency program and after that as an observer at La Floresta, Caracas Venezuela, UCI Irvine and USC. I currently work at Angeles Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, where I am president of the robotic surgery committee. Throughout my career, I have participated as a speaker in 18 countries, primarily on topics related to minimally invasive and oncologic urology. I am also president of the Mexican National College of Urology from 2025-2027. Academically, I was Professor of Urology for more than 20 ys at Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, and actually I am part of the Minimally Invasive Urology Fellowship, sharing responsibilities with CIMA Hospital in Hermosillo, and USC Hospital in Los Angeles.
