Alice Yu
Dr. Alice Yu is Assistant Member in the Department of GU Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida.
A Canadian native, she grew up in Montreal, Canada where she completed her MD and urology residency at McGill University. She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she completed a SUO Fellowship in the Combined Harvard MGH and BWH program. She also earned her MPH at Harvard University during this time.
She has a clinical and research interest in minimally invasive technology in the management of localized prostate cancer and has been an early adopter of prostate focal therapy. She also sits on the NCCN panel for Prostate Cancer Early Detection.
Currently, she practices at a high-volume cancer center and treats urologic cancers using both open and minimally invasive techniques. She is actively involved in surgical education and has been invited to speak about robotic surgery at national and international meetings.
