Dr Monish Aron is Professor of Clinical Urology, Vice-Chair for Clinical Operations, Co-Director Robotic Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopy, and Director of the Robotics Fellowship, in the Department of Urology at Keck School of Medicine at USC. He is also Co-Chair of the GU Disease Group at the Norris Cancer Center.

Dr Aron is an expert in robotic surgery for diseases of the adrenal, kidney, ureter, bladder and prostate. His robotic oncology practice focuses mainly on prostate, bladder and kidney cancer and his main research interest is in improving oncologic and functional outcomes through multimodal therapy for locally advanced and metastatic prostate cancer. Dr Aron has published extensively (>250 peer reviewed publications with H-index > 54) and serves as referee for 10 urological journals, including Editorial Board appointments for 3 journals. Dr Aron has played a pioneering role in the refinement of robotic urologic surgery and he has been invited to various international institutions and meetings to demonstrate minimally invasive urological surgery.
