Angela M. Arlen is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Urology at Yale University School of Medicine, where she also serves as the Urology Department Vice Chair of Education. She graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2006, and completed her urology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2012, followed by a pediatric urology fellowship at Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2014. She currently serves on the American Urological Association Young Urologists Committee as well as the Society of Pediatric Urology UTI Taskforce. Dr. Arlen is actively involved in international volunteerism/global medicine with trips to El Salvador, Palestine, Mongolia and Africa through International Volunteers in Urology. Dr. Arlen’s research interests include optimization of VCUG and management of vesicoureteral reflux, and she has published over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
