About NARUS
The North American Robotic Urology Society (NARUS) is the largest dedicated robotic urologic society in the United States that was founded in 2017 by expert robotic urologic surgeons in the U.S. to consolidate the multiple fragmented North American robotic urology meetings at that time into a single, comprehensive annual symposium held in Las Vegas.
Each year, the meeting enlists over 40 invited faculty from the U.S. and abroad, with its signature feature being live, real-time robotic surgical cases moderated by the expert faculty, alongside didactic lectures and dedicated tracks for adult urology, pediatric urology, allied health, and “Young NARUS” (early-career faculty less than 10 years in practice). The society been expanding to include webinars and hands-on training sessions throughout the year and is aimed at a broad surgical care team audience that includes robotic urologic surgeons, PAs, NPs/APNs, RNs, RN first assistants, certified scrub technicians, and CRNAs, as well as urology trainees and students with an emphasis on practical, hands-on tips for robotic urologic surgery.
